In the life you live the pressures can be immense when pushing towards your goals. You all have a vision of what success will look like in your life, and that can look different for everyone.
Different stages of your life calls for different types of actions. There will always come a time when you face adversity and challenges as you continue on your journey. The conflicts can be internal or external, like: natural disasters, the people you work with, illnesses, etc.
How you respond to those conflicts will result in the success of how you resolve the issues. One thing you must never forget is your “why.” The reason you started is usually the most powerful encouragement you can lean back on in times of struggle. However, when the conflict is dealing with internal self-doubt you must proceed with caution.
Self-doubt, ultimately stems from the fear of failure.
That lack of confidence you possess can be pushed aside. It’s not as easily done, as I say above. Changing your perspective from self-doubt to self-belief. Creating that shift in mind set can be one of the biggest hurdles we all have to do as fierce woman. There are powerful effects to someone saying, “I am fierce, I can do this,” but and I hate that there is a “but” yet, there is a true power in truly believing in yourself. You may have to keep saying it until you do believe it.
Self-belief, comes from hope in your future and confidence in your intentions.
Can you imagine how much farther along you could be if you stopped self-doubting your capabilities? A fear that causes you to hesitate to move in the right direction, is you giving your fear too much power over your life. Did you even take into considerations that even if it was the wrong direction you could still come out of it okay- maybe even seeing a new opportunity because you at least tried? The doubt that stops us from action can self sabotage your future. Choosing to believe in yourself gives you confidence and that “gusto” to do things.
The empowering feeling of acting on your dream, is so much more fulfilling feeling the fear and sadness from not going after it. I’m a firm believer that fierce women are capable of everything they want for their lives, you just have to believe you can even after the failures. Self-belief is powerful and important, because it can be the thing that helps you be the best version of yourself and helps you reach your goals with no regrets.
How have I dealt with this?
As the speaker for fierce women, I think it’s important to share that I too practice what I teach. I am still a work in progress when it comes to not letting self-doubt creep in. I let the lies from other people, or even my assumptions of how others think of me, impact the way I view my vision.
Once I recognize my vision for my life is blurred by these lies, I chose to let go of those ideas. I clear my slate and go back and reiterate “why” I do the things I do. That gives me peace, hope, and the endurance to keep going. I tell myself the truths about who I am and tell myself good messages about myself.
Clarity comes from self reflection. You have to believe in your actions. I will always proclaim, “You are capable,” because it’s true. That mantra is something you can start believing too.
